A New Mission Awaits
The new mission is peace, and that requires a different type of warrior.
Re-engage in brotherhood and purpose through trusted relationships and intentional leadership. Your time in the military created bonds of brotherhood and a sense of mission that few can understand. But what happens when that mission ends and the uniform comes off? The Forge understands that values like Honor, Courage and Commitment don’t disappear when the uniform comes off. We recognize these values as the foundation for your next chapter.
Rally Point Approach
The Core of Our Mission
Since 2001, the United States has lost roughly 7,000 service members in combat related to the post-9/11 wars, including Afghanistan, Iraq, and other operations. USAFacts+1
Meanwhile, over the same period, veterans and active duty service members have died by suicide at a rate at least four times higher than combat deaths. Roughly 30,000 military personnel and veterans have taken their own lives since 2001—more than four times the combat fatalities. Axios+1
The Rally Point Book
Rally Point is a book designed to lead veterans through a new mission and objective. The book is a guide toward healing and soul restoration for those who have served our country and sacrificed so much. Through the art of story telling, easy mental health assessments and an introduction to faith in Jesus Christ, this book becomes the operational order every veteran needs to win “the war within”.
The Rally Point Curriculum
Our curriculum was written by a veteran who is also a trained counselor with a pastor’s heart. It’s intended to be a peer-to-peer veteran-led journey for 8- weeks that will change your life. Rally Point Groups are delivered in cohorts that meet in person and/ or online providing the flexibility to meet your life. This course is free to the veteran participant and includes a certificate of completion. This cohort will become your new unit/ team where you will grow together and support each other through study, conversation and prayer.
What to Expect
Brotherhood is not exclusive to a military branch of service, war era, or age group. At this Rally Point we are all brothers united and committed to one mission: peace and healing through a relationship with Jesus and connection to a community. You can expect to be challenged and encouraged as you progress through your healing journey. The process will not be easy, but we promise it will be worth it. Meetings are once per week and typically last 60-90 minutes.
Become a Rally Point Group Leader
Rally Point Leaders are veterans who are seeking to help their fellow veterans win the “war within” against depression, isolation, suicide, addiction and all the things that keep us from being the men God has designed us to be. You will go through The Forge Leader Equipping Course (8-weeks) and then complete two sessions that are specific to Rally Point and the delivery of this program. Classes can be delivered online or in person based on cohort needs and this certification is completely free of charge to the veteran thanks to the support of our generous donors.

"The Forge has helped me redefine what biblical leadership is, making it more applicable and less daunting in my own life. Facilitating groups in a way that is both loving and based in God’s truth is a hard balance, but these sessions have equipped me with the right tools to make it happen. I believe the Forge can help mobilize faithful and available men to disciple other men that are in a place of need."
- Travis R.
“The Forge's leadership materials were excellent. They pulled directly from Scripture and modeled what is expected of Godly men. The practical tools gave confidence for unfamiliar group situations and conversations. The leadership training was one of the best curriculums I have taken part in.”
